The man and the victory

Facing a debacle in 2004 General Elections, BJP has come out with a thumbing victory in the assembly elections held some days back in Gujarat with Narandra Modi on a hat trick. What does that mean?? This simply implies that this man (BJP party) has got some potential and people of Gujarat have approved his work since past five years. They have positively voted for continued growth and development of their state.Inspite of all the mud sledding people of Gujarat have given Modi and BJP party a green signal and a respectful mandate.

Many accuse Modi of being a person responsible for the slaughter of hundreds and thousands minority people. They consider him being the most ardent and fiery orator but the result of the assemble elections in which BJP has whole got 117 out of 182 seats shows that man and his victory is unstoppable.

Now the question arises will the victory change the national politics? Let us wait and watch as the mystery continues to unfold. :)

Everything happens for a reason - author unknown

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there - to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but when you look eyes with them, you know that every moment that you are with them, they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason! Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet affect your life, the successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things.

MAKE EVERYDAY COUNT! Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people who you have never talked to before and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, even if it doesn't seem right because you are too young or too far, just follow your heart. Surround yourself with those who make you smile, laugh and make you happy.Break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you. Create your own life then LET GO and LIVE IT!

If tomorrow comes

Sometimes nothing matters in life. You wake up from a deep slumber and realize that there are loads of things to be done but postponing things of high importance has become your hobby. The reason being - you are quite lazy to do things.

Postponement is simply unintelligent. Tomorrow you will also have to decide, so why not today? And do you think that tomorrow you will be wiser than today? Do you think that tomorrow you will be nimble than today? Tomorrow you will be older, your courage will be less. Tomorrow death will come closer and you will start wavering and being more afraid. Never postpone for the tomorrow. And who knows? (Kal Ho Na Ho!). Tomorrow may come or may not come. If you have to decide you have to decide right now. Make up your mind. Don't let the present moment go from your hands.

Tomorrow never comes, they say, but no matter how often it is said, it seems that most of us tend to forget the truth of it. In fact, the one and only result of postponing things is a dull and depressing feeling of incompletion. The relief and happiness you will feel once you put aside all the dithering thoughts that are preventing you from acting now will make you wonder why you ever waited so long.

Watch Out!! - Ever wondered why some make it big?

The most successful top level executives were not necessarily the smartest kids in the class, nor was their education or pedigree. They were just ordinary people who rose to become extraordinary leaders with time. Archetypal life-shaping experiences contributed to them turning out as extraordinary leaders with time.

Some common traits have emerged that have made them successful and a source of inspiration for others to follow: First is their character that makes them always act in good purpose of the enterprise. Second is their appetite to lead and always in charge of the situation, critically examining ones own values, beliefs, behaviors and even if it is not ones job always figuring out root of the problem or opportunity. Third is the capacity to take calculated personal risk without specific knowledge of how to succeed. Fourth is the innate capacity to be decisive at all times and making tough choices. Fifth is the ability to inspire and engage all. Selling something and getting others to buy in. Connecting with others and understanding what motivates others – also walking the talk and speaking their language, enlisting them as much by ones own deeds than just words. Sixth is being a parent at work, helping others to grow and to perform exceptionally.

Last, being a team builder. Gathering and leading a group in common endeavor, and succeeding, thus making average players to play like stars. Adding new members and weeding out underperformers. Setting direction and changing it while keeping them together. (Extract from - Business World)

Chanakya and his words of wisdom

History was one of my favourite subjects in school. I remember how keenly I used to read history with dad but when it used to be exam time same history was a nightmare for me - since remembering dates and periods used to make my life miserable. Well, I presume I should inculcate the habit of reading history once again and who knows this time I might be able to remember dates, periods and lives of many people who reigned the world at some or the other point.

So, let me start with Chanakya – one of my favourite characters in history who is revered and esteemed as a master strategist, astute statesman and a shrewd political administrator.

Chanakya (350 - 275 BC), also known as Kautilya or Vishnugupta, was born in Pataliputra, Magadha (modern Bihar, India) and later moved to Taxila, in Gandhara province (now in Pakistan). He was a professor (acharya) of political science at the Takshashila University and later the prime minister of the emperor Chandragupta Maurya. He is regarded as one of the earliest known political thinkers, economists and king-makers.
Chanakya is perhaps less well known outside India compared to other social and political philosophers of the world like Confucius and Machiavelli. His foresight and wide knowledge coupled with politics of expediency helped found the mighty Mauryan Empire in India. He compiled his political ideas into the Arthashastra, one of the world's earliest treatises on political thought and social order. His ideas remain popular to this day in India. In Jawaharlal Nehru's Discovery of India, Chanakya has been called the Indian Machiavelli, although he lived and died long before Machiavelli's time.

Pearls of wisdom by Chanakya: (The Quotes)

"A person should not be too honest. Straight trees are cut first and honest people are screwed first."

"Even if a snake is not poisonous, it should pretend to be venomous."

"The biggest guru-mantra is: Never share your secrets with anybody. It will destroy you."

"There is some self-interest behind every friendship. There is no friendship without self-interests. This is a bitter truth."

"Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it, what the results might be and will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead."

"As soon as the fear approaches near, attack and destroy it."

"The world's biggest power is the youth and beauty of a woman."

"Once you start a working on something, don't be afraid of failure and don't abandon it. People who work sincerely are the happiest."

"The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all direction."

"God is not present in idols. Your feelings are your god. The soul is your temple."

"A man is great by deeds, not by birth."

"Never make friends with people who are above or below you in status. Such friendships will never give you any happiness."

"Treat your kid like a darling for the first five years. For the next five years, scold them. By the time they turn sixteen, treat them like a friend. Your grown up children are your best friends."

"Books are as useful to a stupid person as a mirror is useful to a blind person."

"Education is the best friend. An educated person is respected everywhere. Education beats the beauty and the youth.”

Reaons to be a child

Hum bhi agar bacche hote, naam hamara hota dabloo babloo khane ko milte ladooo and duniya kehte ...Happy children's day...Happy children's day...Happy children's day to you :)

Children's Day today and I want to be a child again...A baby rather.Why ? Why not?

Endless reasons:

1. Mommy "pani", Mommy "pani", Mommy "pani"...Drink as much as I want and don't bother what to do with the rest. Pour it on the carpet, sofa, floor and toss the "g(l)ass" on the floor.

2. Tutu (Susu)...He he he why waste time going to bathroom...do it anywhere :P:P.

3. Food...I want to eat what I want to eat. No fixed menu please. If I don't like it I will have it made on the fly.

4. I want my folks to pay me attention (read - be in attention...Savdaan!!).

5. Not to wait for someone to say yes.............rejoice with my fellas.

6. I want people to appreciate my intellect and intelligence.

One block over another, one new word and appreciation...clap!clap!clap!

The Mountain and the Squirrel - Ralph Waldo Emerson

A poem by R.W. Emerson which truly showcases the problem of complexes in human beings. The poem depicts a mountain carrying forests on its back but cannot crack a nut. Where as a squirrel that can crack a nut cannot carry forests. So none is superior or inferior in this world. All creatures serve as spokes in the wheel of life. God merely acts as the hub holding everything together. The poem:

The mountain and the squirrel
Had a quarrel,
And the former called the latter “Little Prig.”
Bun replied,
“You are doubtless very big;
But all sorts of things and weather
Must be taken in together,
To make up a year
And a sphere.
And I think it no disgrace
To occupy my place.
If I’m not so large as you,
You are not so small as I,
And not half so spry,
I’ll not deny you make
A very pretty squirrel track;

Talents differ; all is well and wisely put;
If I cannot carry forests on my back,

Neither can you crack a nut.”

Marriage – Which one would you favour?

While sipping a cup of cold cappuccino at CCD and gossiping on some usual stuff with Mark yesterday, our informal conversation suddenly broke into an argument. Well, the discussion was – which marriage is better rather successful-love or arranged?

Mark, like most of the present generation youth has an acumen point - love marriage is more successful than arranged marriage – to which I do agree (to some extent) but not 100 % since I have my own reasons to support my point.

Marriage has always been a big concern particularly - for children belonging to orthodox families. Whenever we talk of marriages, especially in India - an arranged marriage is considered as the most sagacious union. (God knows why?), probably because in an arranged marriage the suitable spouses are chosen by the parents and second reason being security and protection it offers. On the other hand to abnegate an arranged marriage is considered as a sign of disrespect. It has also been seen from statistics that the divorce rate for arranged marriages is much lower than those of love marriages. This does not imply that arranged marriages are successful than the love marriages. Just like arranged marriages, love marriages also have their own advantages.

Today young couples are not getting married only because they love each other. The new reasons are friendship, care, trust, respect, independence even a companion with whom one can share oneself. Today couples don’t marry for security and protection, but for companionship, emotional compatibility and mutual affection. That is the reason best couples are those who are the best of friends.

So, it is difficult to predict the perfect sort of marriage and hence it totally depends on an individual to decide whether he/she wants to have a love or arranged marriage after all it a question of being happy in life and also a one time investment ;) - Courtesy - The New Nation

Myth or Science ?

Does sharing good news affect our mood?

When good things happen to you, do you immediately call a friend or run over to your parents to share the joy? Well, if it isn’t your style, you might reconsider. A study shows that those who sought out others when good things happened to them were consistently happier than those who did not share their good news. Additionally, this "capitalizing" effect held irrespective of the events themselves, meaning that if two people both had positive things happen to them, the happier person would be the one who shared the good news. The study ruled out alternative explanations for these findings. For example, personality did not play a role, given that the results were due to high levels of extraversion in the study's participants.

Peoples' responses to an individuals good news are also important. Only when others reacted with genuine enthusiasm (as opposed to indifference or feigned happiness) did sharing make people happier. So happiness is not just the result of sharing joy, rather, it is also a result of sharing good news with the right people. (Extract from Organizational Behavior – Stephen P. Robbins and Timothy A. Wisdom flowing all around us - Author Unknown

A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, the son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Curious, he yells: "Who are you?" He receives the answer: "Who are you?" Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!" He receives the answer: "Coward!" He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?" The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!" The voice answers: "I admire you!" Again the man screams: "You are a champion!" The voice answers: "You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, but does not understand.

Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.

It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.

This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give you back everything you have given to it.

Your life is not a coincidence. It's a reflection of you!

Important Lesson

One of the important lessons which Di taught me few days back.

Life gives answers in three ways,
It says "YES" and gives whatever you want,
It says "NO" and gives you something better,
It says "Wait" and gives you the best.
“Don't just Dream. Live you’re Dream."

I should say Di – I love you the most. Sometimes, we are so engrossed in life that we forget to thank God for whatever he has given us. I am thankful to God and to mom and dad that I have someone like you in my life. Thanks for every thing. You are my inspiration and off course the best sister in world. :)

Gandhi-Giri

Another Gandhi Jayanthi has passed and I kept marveling how far as a nation have we progressed. What has 60 years of Independence given us? What have we - as a nation achieved and how many of us are actually working for what Gandhi had dreamt? His dream – “India of my dreams” where he mentioned:

“I shall work for an India in which poorest shall feel that it is their country, in whose making they have an effective voice, an India in which there shall be no high class and low class of people ; an India in which all communities shall live in perfect harmony. There can be no room in such an India for the curse of untouchability, or the curse of intoxicating drinks and drugs. Women will enjoy the same rights as men. We shall be at peace with the rest of the world. This is India of my dreams.” I kept wondering how far has been his dream realized?

Perhaps, its sometimes good to question your own self - “What have I as a citizen of Indian done towards my own country?” One Mahatma was enough to dream but, well - I guess we need many more Mahatmas to make his dream come true.

Ram Setu

INDIA - since my childhood has mesmerized me. Its not just word "India" that fascinates me but - its people, its history, its mythological stories, different cultures, ancient traditions, various castes, religions and most of all India's democracy and politics which has always been a source of captivation for me. Though, I am not a great political person but I generally try to keep myself abreast with what is happening in India as well as around the globe.

The latest Ram Setu controversy seems to take a toll on me. For the first time when I heard the news, I thought Ram Setu controversy was like any other controversy for which the political parties want to gain their respective voter banks. But a huge thanks to media – (I have been hearing this news from every news channel) which made me a little curious to know not particularly about the controversy behind Ram Setu but what Ram Setu actually is?

As per NASA, Ram Setu is a mysterious ancient bridge in the Palk strait between India and Sri Lanka. Currently named as Adam’s Bridge, Ram Setu is a chain of limestone shoals and is about 48 km long.

According to Hindu scriptures and belief, Lord Ram and his vaanar sena had built a bridge from Rameshwaram to Sri Lanka about 17 lacs 25 thousands years ago. The discovery of Shri Ram Setu by NASA confirms that Hindu scriptures and belief are correct in this matter and that Ramayana is 'history' and not "mythology" as is often construed.

Significance of Ram Setu:
1. This is a divine bridge.
2. Ram Setu a natural barrier to tsunami.
3. The bridge is world's oldest man-made structure.

This information may not be of much importance to the archeologists who are interested in exploring the origins of man, but it is sure to open the spiritual gates of the people of the world to have come to know an ancient history linked to the Indian mythology. Courtesy - Google

Where can I find HIM ?

I tried to find him on the Christian cross, but he was not there.
I went to the temple of the Hindus and to the old pagodas, but I could not find a trace of him anywhere.
I searched on the mountains and in the valleys, but neither in the heights nor in the depths was I able to find him.
I went to the Kaaba in Mecca, but he was not there either.
I questioned the scholars and philosophers, but he was beyond their understanding.

I then looked into my heart, and it was there where He dwelled that I saw Him; He was nowhere else to be found - Jalaluddin Rumi

Cheerfulness - Osho

“Nothing that comes and goes is you.
"I am bored." Who knows this?
"I am angry, sad, and afraid." Who knows this?
You are the knowing, not the condition that is known.” – (Eckhart Tolle)

Today I was feeling real jaded rather frustrated at work. Well, I guess most of us have the tendency to get bored or frustrated at work especially when the work is not of ones interest. That is the time when one panics the most and all negative thoughts start corrupting ones mind as well as thoughts. But a huge thanks to internet – some how I manage to read some motivational articles whenever I undergo such situations. These articles generally serve a source of inspiration and at times do lift my spirits.

Read this article somewhere by Osho and gained the zeal of moving on ahead again and off course with cheerfulness in life.

Be of good cheer. Let cheerfulness become a climate that surrounds you day in, day out. Cheerfulness should not remain just an emotion that comes once in a while; it should be a constant undercurrent. On the surface you may be doing anything, but deep down there should be a singing heart.

You maybe involved in day-to-day activities of life, but deep down your energies should remain in a dancing mood. That's the real art of being a sannyasin/renunciate: being in the world and yet not of it. And the only way to fulfill this is to remain ordinary with cheerfulness, otherwise, life becomes boring, one has to do the same things again and again. It becomes routine and rut.

Unless you can remain cheerful, life is bound to become heavier every day. Unless you can keep cheerfulness flowing, your life is going to become dormant, stagnant. Stagnant water start stinking, it remains fresh only if it flows. And the only thing that can keep you flowing is cheerfulness. So don't miss an opportunity; whenever you can, laugh, smile, dance, sing.

Then a miracle happens one day: you become so full of light that you can go in darkness and the darkness disappears. You become so cheerful that you can go into sadness and the sadness starts laughing.

Foot Prints in Sand - Mark Hargrave

One of my all time favourite poems. Read and enjoy :)

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

An 'Unexpected Email'

Sometimes life seems to play games with you. Or should I say fair games? ya - makes sense - anyway who cares?? You are only a part of a flow, a perfect rhythm, every thing under this sky and sun looks so beautiful, so pleasant, that the last thing you want is an 'unexpected email' lying in your inbox. (since you don’t know how to deal with it)

Believe me, during those times, you tend to attribute far lower value to the person who created the service of sending an email. You just want to grab that person’s neck and may be rule out his/her option of living in this world. Guess that is the effect of an unexpected email – an indomitable power to make you a murderer. :)

Best thing to keep in mind is - the next time you logon to your inbox, expect something unexpected and give a damn to it (that is what I learnt)!!!

Give life your best

If you can’t be the pine at the top of the hill
Be a shrub in the valley below.
The best little shrub in the valley below
Be a bush if you can’t be a tree.
If you can’t be a bush be a bit of the grass
And some highway happier make
If you can’t be a muskie, then just be a bass
But be the liveiest bass in the Lake!
We can’t all be captains, we’ve got to be crew
There’s something for all of us here
There’s big work to do and lesser to do
And the task we must do is near
If you can’t be a highway then just be a trail
If you can’t be the sun, be a star
It isn’t by size that you win or you fail
Be the best of whatever you are !!!! By - Douglas Malloch

Love

LOVE – A simple and sweet four letter word - craze for present generation and pride for the older lot. Sometimes, I do wonder what love is all about. Becoming an insomniac, thinking of some one in particular, butterflies in stomach, heart beat rising fast at one instant and going slow at the same instant, loss of appetite. Is that all what love is about………..Naaaaaa!!!! Must be something more to it......

Well, Dr.M.Scott Peck (author of The Road Less Travelled) explains – Love is too large, too deep to be truly understood or measured or limited within the frame work of words. Its actually the will to extend ones’ self for the purpose of nurturing one’s or another’s spiritual growth. The act of loving is an act of self - evolution even when the purpose of the act is someone else’s growth. Love is an act of will which implies choice. No matter how much we may think we are loving, if we are infact not loving, its because we have chosen not to love.

Two people love each other only when they are quite capable of living without each other but choose to live with each other. When we require another individual for our survival, we become a parasite on that individual. There is no choice, no freedom involved in the relationship. It is a matter of necessity rather than love.

Love is too vast to be explained. To some it can be a feeling, for others it can be a sort of commitment. I think being in love should mean - “Expect little and seek to give more”.

Be What You Are :)

Don't let your parents down,
They brought you up.

Be humble enough to obey,
You may give orders someday.

Choose companions with care,
You become what they are.

Gaurd your thoughts,
What you think you are.

Choose only a date,
Who would make a good mate

Be master of your habits,
Or they will master you.

Don't be a show off when you drive,
Drive with safety and arrive.

Don't let the crowd pressure you,
Stand for something or you will fall for anything !!

Poems and Quotes

Reading poems and quotes seem to be my latest passion. I feel delighted and at the same time rejuvenated when I go through a poem or a quote. Recently, while I was going through a book - Vedanta Treatise I read a poem titled "Solitude" written by Ella Wheeler Wilcox.

I believe that every author or poet has some moral to convey to its readers from his/her writings. I don’t know what is the actual intension of poet behind writing this poem but, while reciting the lines of this poem - I felt a strange content in my heart, so decided to post this poem in my blog.

The lines of the poem go like this:

Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone ;
For the brave old earth must borrow its mirth,
It has sorrows enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh! it is lost in the air;
The echoes do bound a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.

Rejoice, and men will seek you;
Grieve, and they turn and go;
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.
Be glad, and your friends are many;
Be sad, and you lose them all;
There is none to decline your nectar'd wine,
But all alone you must drink life's gall.

Feast, and your halls are crowded;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.
There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a long and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.

Insomnia

These days I have been spending sleepless nights tossing and turning in my bed all through the night. I lie awake wondering what to do? Sleep seems to have run away miles from me. God why, WHY did this have to happen to me? Added to this, I seem to have been hit by Alzheimer's – I tend to keep things so safe that I need at least 2-3 days to remember where could be the probable place I would have kept them.

Whenever I endure such set of symptoms I console myself that this will be last time I will be facing such a situation but Oh God!! this nuisance seems to occur again and again and it looks like summer is the best season for this trouble. Di says all these things are part and parcel of this age (rather aging eh!). Mom and Dad say not to worry and friends - ahh looks like they enjoy me being in such a situation.

Well there has to be a remedy, so I have consulted many people to gain their expert opinion. All people have prescribed their own remedies. The remedies vary from crushed neem leaves to mint leaves, from crushed tomatoes to potatoes, from curd to sandalwood, from simple water to rose petal water to fresh coconut water, from drinking lassi to applying all sorts of concoctions (wonder who will prescribe chilli powder mixed with salt!!)

I think PIMPLES are in love with me. So many of THEM that I can't bear to see my face. Poor me, I am actually having nightmare, nightmare of nightmares should I say. Hope this summer flies and soon I find a respite from this pain. Till then, well I guess I will have to be an Insomniac only.............. :) Insomniac Neeru - hmmmm sound perfect ;)

Happiness the only way – Live it!!!

Someone has rightly said,” There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.”

Being cheerful, peaceful and happy are the essential ingredients of living a blissful life. But since all of us at the present times are so preoccupied with our own chores and people are so disturbed with their own strife and turmoil that they sometimes tend to forget the importance of these three words in life.

The perfect happiness for most of us would mean getting everything we want or even wanted. We are so occupied in accumulating the toys and joys of world that we tend to evade small forms of happiness coming our way and believe me this evading of such small happy moments is totally un intentional.

Life is a bundle of struggles and people have a tendency to worry about petty matters rather than to enjoy the gift of gap given to us by God. The main reason why we ar
e not happy is dissatisfaction. Dissatisfaction – it may be for studies, for wealth, for fame or it may be at work place. We are never satisfied with what we are or do and hence are constantly craving for something. That something which most of us don’t know what it is, but still we work hard to get that something. SOMETHING. The other form of dissatisfaction is that we get stuck in “IF ONLY” syndrome. If only I had more money, then I would be happy. If only I can find somebody who really loves me, I will be happy, if only I work for this company I would be happy and the list goes on and on forever.

Life is too short and uncertain so I think it should be lived to maximum and the only way to live a fulfilled life is be happy and try to keep others happy too. That is why I say "Happiness is the only way - Live it!!"

Here I Go!!!

"I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confine in anyone, and I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support." By Anne Frank from “The Diary of a Young Girl”.

The life of person is a diary in which he or she writes his own story. A story which is a mystery in itself and unfolds each day, each hour, every minute and not to mention every second. We constantly need to get inspired and move from one phase of life to other. At times there are pains, sorrows and at the same instant there is happiness, love, urge to live - which become some of the driving factors of life. While I start writing this blog for my own personal interests, to know my self better and who I am, I will at the same time try to post articles which will be informative and there after will help readers in some or other way. But the main intention of writing this blog is to write about my experiences, about the people who are with me and yes not to forget -my friends. Here after the blog will be called as “NEERU’S CORNER”. Any form of critics, suggestions and reviews are welcome.

From time I have gained senses, there are some unanswered questions for which I constantly seek answer. I don’t know why these sort of obnoxious questions arise only in my mind but then I guess some one has to be different.

Sometimes I wonder what is the deeper purpose of life? Birth, childhood, adolescence, adult hood, old age and ultimately death for all of us. Is this what we are born to do? Well, I guess there is something more to life but what is it I cannot figure it out. I am still searching and wondering.

Can some one help me?
